A list of loosely defined principles:
- People are the most important thing.
- Trust is the most important thing.
- Time is the most important thing.
- Take your hands out of your pockets.
- Deal with the mess.
- Be messy.
- Tell me what you know.
- Tell me what you don't know.
- Then tell me what you think.
- Always distinguish which from which.[2]
- In practice, Feedback Loops >>> Calculus.
- It's hard to find problems in the world that are integrable.
- It's easier to control what sign you are (+/-)
- If you're not going up, you're going down.
- Always leave things better than you found it.[3]
- You are either:
- Taking things too personally.
- Not taking things personally enough.
- Do the best work of your life.
- Common sense is the sixth sense.
